Everyone that I coach will improve because I teach the game I love with utmost respect for the individual. Every practice is planned to emphasize creativity, ball possession skills and teamwork through hard work, encouragement and competitive fun.

I've loved Oakland Camps because of the many friends I have made with staff and campers over the more than 20 years I've been working at this amazing camp. The facilities are world class and the organization is extremely professional.

My name is Calum Hendrie and I am 20 years of age. I live in a town called Kirkintilloch near Glasgow in Scotland. I live at home with my parents and brother and sister.

I have loved football from an early age and started attending the summer ‘Goal Getters’ sessions at the age of 4. I joined a local team called Strathkelvin Thistle Colts at the age of 8 and over the next two years we took part in summer tournaments. The first one was held in Ayr, Scotland and teams from all over the UK took part. We reached the final, and after extra time and penalties we had to play till the Golden Goal was scored to decide the winning team. I was lucky enough to score this goal, and from that point on was ‘hooked'.
